Gibson Rickenbacker is a hired fighter living in a plague-ravaged apocalyptic America where a plague has infested most of the United States and the rest of the world. In New York City, Gibson encounters a woman named Pearl Prophet. Pearl reveals to Gibson that she is a cyborg who is carrying vital-information for a group of scientists in Atlanta who are working on a cure to the plague and Pearl hires Gibson to escort her back to Atlanta. But Pearl is kidnapped by "Pirates" a murderous gang led by Fender Tremolo, who wants the cure for themselves and they decide to take Pearl to Atlanta themselves. Gibson, joined by a young woman named Nady Simmons, goes in pursuit of Fender and his gang,Gibson sets out to rescue Pearl, stop Fender and his gang from reaching Atlanta and defeat Fender who slaughtered Gibson's family.
This is not a rip off from Mad Max, or any other movies of that type. Cyborg is in the "Lone Gunman" type of movies, whichfarI'm concerned, there are no bad ones. This movies is absoluetly great. THe acting is SUPERB, and the plot is perfect, not to mention the fighting and other action sequences. 10/ 10.
I have to say, that i used to love this movie when i was young. Well i'm still young (18), but i just know that this movie isn't good. But let's concentrate on the good things. First of all, the music is great, it creates some kind of tension. Especially the parts with Fender(eg. where he takes of his glasses). I also believe that the crucification is amazing. Even though this movie is bad, that scene is just amazing. The music, the tension, the thought that it's up to Haily to decide(well she can't really decide)whether her mom, brother and Jc are gonna live.another scene i like is the part in the sewer where Jc does his trademark splits over the bad guy and stabs him to death. Again, the music and the tension(also the dark tone and environment) are amazing. Having said that, the movie just got too many weak points. Weak acting and (though i believe Jc's face expressions are very convincing, i really believe it's due to his english that his acting is not good)lack of plot are main responsible for this. If only the makers had put more emphasis on the storyline(the fact that this movie's runtime is barely 90min, says enough), then i really would have given this move a chance. beside the action, i think this movie really could have been interesting. The story really sounds interesting and had much potential, but the makers didn't give it enough attention and therefor it wasn't well executed.

Joined by Nady Simmons (Deborah Richter), a young woman, whose family died from the plague and was hiding, when Fender and the Pirates attacked a settlement and stole a boat. Gibson sets out to confront Fender, whom murdered his family, a young woman named Mary (Terrie Batson) and her younger brother, whom hired Gibson to escort them out of a city to a safe place, after The Pirates killed their father and forced his adoptive daughter Haley (Haley Paterson), to join his gang. no,but fender makes a referance to Blade Runner by saying "we have a skinjob" The old British BBFC 18 Versions are extremely censored. More than three minutes of action sequences are missing. There is also an uncensored versions available on DVD in the UK. Maze. Gibson saw Nady morea daughter or sister. After Mary was murdered by Fender and his Pirates, Gibson could never love another woman. Because Fender knew he was outmatched against a group of bandits also the real life answer is that there would be no story otherwise. Yes. Albert Pyun was hired to direct a sequel to Masters of the Universe, which was to be called "Masters of the Universe 2: The Cyborg". The film, which took place after the 1st film, followed He-Man, who returns to Earth to do battle with Skeletor, when Skeletor destroys the Earth, leaving ita post-apocalyptic wasteland. The script was written, the sets and costumes were prepared. But Cannon films and Mattel decided to cancel production on the film, due to "Masters of the Universe" flopping at the box office. Albert Pyun got screenwriter Kitty Chalmers to rewrite the script and it became the script for a sci-fi action story, set in a post apocalyptic America and was the story of a young warrior, who sets off in pursuit of an evil gang of warriors that have kidnapped a female cyborg, and that script was the script for "Cyborg". Yes, although no special features are mentioned Picture, editing, sound, music, story. Everything is different. The only remaining aspect is the action and violence since Cyborg was quite heavily censored for the "R" rating.
